REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



  1. Raise and support the rear of the vehicle safely and remove the wheels.
  2.  
  3. Remove brake caliper assembly. Refer to the necessary procedure. Make sure not to twist the brake hose.
  4.  
  5. Remove the brake disc from the vehicle. On some models you can use 2 suitable bolts to press off the rotor, by screwing them into the two holes provided on the "top hat" portion of the rotor.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of removal.

INSPECTION



Check the brake rotor for roughness, cracks or chips. The rotor can be machined on a brake lathe most auto parts stores have complete machine shop service. The rotors should be machined or replaced during every rear disc brake pad replacement.
