REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Certain later models use an air induction valve filter. It is located in the side of the air cleaner housing and is easily replaced.
Replacement intervals for this unit are every 30,000 miles.
- Unfasten the mounting screws and remove the valve filter case.
- Pull the air induction valve out and remove the filter that lies underneath it.
- Install the new filter, then the valve. Pay particular attention to which way the valve is facing, so the exhaust gases will not flow backwards through the system.
- Install the valve filter case.
