Flashers and Relays

Print

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

See Figures 1 through 8

The turn signal and four-way hazard flashers are one combined flasher unit located under the instrument panel to the left of the brake pedal. Replacement is made by unplugging the old flasher unit and plugging in the new one.

Relays are used for horn, air conditioner, blower, fuel pump etc., although obviously not all relays are used on all models. Most other relays are grouped together, and mounted on the right fender in the engine compartment.
