REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Refer to the Manual Transaxle procedures with this exception: When removing both halfshafts from 4WD equipped models, insert a dowel or equivalent through the right side halfshaft hole and use a small mallet to tap the left halfshaft out of the transaxle case. Withdraw the shaft from the steering knuckle and remove it. Be careful not to damage the pinion mating shaft and the side gear while tapping the left halfshaft out of the transaxle case.
