Removal & Installation



  1. Remove the wheel.
  2.  
  3. Remove lower sliding pin bolt.
  4.  
  5. Suspend brake caliper with a remove and remove brake pad and shim from torque member.
  6.  

To install:

  1. Push pistons in so that the pad is firmly installed, using a suitable tool.
  2.  
  3. Mount the brake caliper to torque member.
  4.  
  5. Attach pad retainer to torque member.
  6.  
  7. Lubricate lower sliding pin bolt with a thin layer of silicone grease and install. Torque to 32 ft. lbs. (44 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Install the wheel.
  10.  

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Remove the wheel.
  4.  
  5. Remove lower sliding pin bolt.
  6.  
  7. Suspend brake caliper with a remove and remove brake pad and shim from torque member.
  8.  

To install:
