Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Serious burns could occur from high-pressure engine coolant escaping from the radiator. Perform this procedure when engine is cold.
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
- Drain the cooling system.
Remove or disconnect the following:
CAUTIONDo not allow coolant to contact drive belts.
NOTELift A/C condenser up and forward to remove from radiator.
CAUTIONDo not damage or scratch air conditioner condenser and radiator core when removing.
Engine splash guard
Radiator upper and lower hoses from radiator
A/C condenser bolts and brackets
- To install, reverse removal procedure
- Check for leaks of engine coolant. Start and warm up the engine. Visually check for leaks of the engine coolant and A/T fluid.
