REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
The oil pressure switch is mounted on the bulkhead side of the engine below the intake manifold. The switch is wired in parallel with the Fuel Pump Relay. If the fuel pump relay should fail, the oil pressure switch takes over after 4 psi (28 kPa) of oil pressure is reached.
The fuel pump relay is mounted in the engine compartment, in front of the air cleaner. The mounting bracket has two identical relays mounted to it. The relay on the left hand side is the air conditioning relay and the relay on the right is the fuel pump relay.
