REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Fig. Fig. 5 ... then slide the radio forward. Disengage the electrical connections and remove the radio

  1. Remove the console trim plate assembly.

  3. Disconnect the side retaining nuts and the rear retaining bolt.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the electrical and antenna connections.
  6.  
  7. Remove the radio through the front of the console.
  8.  
  9. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  10.  

It is very important when doing any radio work to avoid pinching the speaker wires. A short circuit to ground from either wire will cause damage to the output circuit of the radio.
