Every 12 months or 24,000 miles Pontiac recommends lubrication of the suspension and steering pivot points.

  1. There are 6 grease fittings (3 on each side) on the front suspension and 4 grease fittings (2 on each side) on the rear suspension. Wipe each one with a clean cloth.
  2.
  3. Using a grease gun with a flexible hose, apply chassis lubricant to each grease fitting until the rubber caps begin to puff.
  4.

Do not over-lubricate, as the caps will separate from the suspension components.

  1. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the metal steering stops on the front suspension.
  2.
