  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the hood release assembly.
  4.  
  5. Remove the steering column cover.
  6.  
  7. Remove the speaker grills and speakers.
  8.  
  9. Remove the instrument panel attaching screws and service cover.
  10.  
  11. Loosen the shift trim plate.
  12.  
  13. Remove the front console trim plate and pad assembly.
  14.  
  15. Remove the instrument panel reinforcement screws and panel assembly.
  16.  

To install:

Coat the edge and frame contact points with silicone sealer to help prevent squeaks and rattles.

  1. Install the instrument panel and reinforcement screws.
  2.  
  3. Install the front console pad and trim plate.
  4.  
  5. Install the instrument panel service cover and panel attaching screws.
  6.  
  7. Install the speakers and grills.
  8.  
  9. Install the steering column covers.
  10.  
  11. Install the hood release assembly. Reconnect the negative (-) battery cable to check for proper instrument operation.
