REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

CAUTION
The air cleaner also functions as a flame arrestor in the event of an engine backfire. The air cleaner assembly should be installed at all times unless the removal is necessary for repair or maintenance. Be sure that no one is near the engine compartment before starting the engine to help reduce the risk of personal injury and property damage. If the engine backfires with the air cleaner removed, there could be a burst of flame and the possibility of a fire in the engine compartment.
