Diagnosis & Testing



  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Apply ground to motor terminal B and battery voltage to terminal A, the window should open.
  4.  
  5. Apply ground to motor terminal A and battery voltage to terminal B, the window should close.

Power Windows



Removal & Installation
Motor & Regulator
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Lower or raise the front door glass so that the distance from the top of the front door glass at the molding is 5.12 inches.
  4.  
  5. Remove the inner garnish.
  6.  
  7. Remove the regulator handle if equipped.
  8.  
  9. Remove screws and the fastener.
  10.  
  11. Slide the pull handle cover toward the front of the vehicle, then disengage tab from the front door trim.
  12.  
  13. Remove the screws.
  14.  
  15. Disengage clips using a fastener remover tool from the body.
  16.  
  17. Pull the front door trim upward, then disengage the pins from the body.
  18.  
  19. Extract the inner handle from the front door trim.
  20.  
  21. Disconnect the power window main switch connector (driver-s side).
  22.  
  23. Disconnect the power window sub switch connector (passenger-s side).
  24.  
  25. Remove the inner handle.
  26.  
  27. Remove the door screen, door glass and run channel.
  28.  
  29. Unplug the connector, remove the fasteners and remove the regulator.

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Removal & Installation



Switch
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Raise Lower or raise the front door glass so that the distance from the top of the front door glass at the molding is 5.12 inches.
  4.  
  5. Remove the inner garnish.
  6.  
  7. Remove the regulator handle if equipped.
  8.  
  9. Remove screws and the fastener.
  10.  
  11. Slide the pull handle cover toward the front of the vehicle, then disengage tab from the front door trim.
  12.  
  13. Remove the screws.
  14.  
  15. Disengage clips using a fastener remover from the body.
  16.  
  17. Pull the front door trim upward, then disengage the pins from the body.
  18.  
  19. Extract the inner handle from the front door trim.
  20.  
  21. Disconnect the power window main switch connector (driver-s side).
  22.  
  23. Disconnect the power window sub switch connector (passenger-s side).
  24.  
  25. Push out the clip from the reverse side of the trim, and remove the switch panel.
  26.  
  27. Remove the screw, and remove the power window main switch.
