Removal & Installation



On vehicles with a conventional instrument cluster, gauges can be replaced as follows:

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the instrument cluster.
  4.  
  5. Remove the seven instrument cluster lens screws.
  6.  
  7. Remove the lens and the instrument cluster mask.
  8.  
  9. Remove the retaining screws for the gauge to be replaced and remove the gauge. If the speedometer is to be replaced, the fuel gauge/temperature gauge assembly must be removed first.
  10.  
  11. The installation is the reverse of removal.
