Washer Pump & Reservoir
Washer Motor

Specific to:

Mercury Villager 1993-2000

Nissan Quest 1993-2000

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Loosen the lug nuts on the passenger-s side front wheel.
  4.  
  5. Apply the parking brake, block the rear wheels, then raise and safely support the front of the vehicle securely on jackstands.
  6.  
  7. Remove the passenger-s side front wheel.
  8.  
  9. Remove the passenger-s side front fender splash shield screws and fasteners and remove the shield.
  10.  
  11. Remove the top bolt from the washer fluid reservoir.
  12.  
  13. Label and disconnect the electrical connectors from the washer pumps and the washer fluid level sensor.
  14.  
  15. Place a drain pan under the washer fluid reservoir and drain the reservoir.
  16.  
  17. Label and disconnect the hoses from the washer pumps.
  18.  
  19. Loosen the two washer fluid reservoir side bolts.
  20.  
  21. Slide the washer fluid reservoir from the bolts and remove it.
  22.  
  23. Remove the washer pump to be replaced from the reservoir.
  24.  
  25. The installation is the reverse of removal.
