Possible Causes:



O2 signal circuit is shorted to chassis or Sensor ground
 
O2 may be contaminated or it has failed
 
PCM return or signal circuit is damaged or has failed

O2 (B2 S2) Circuit Shorted to Ground

Possible Causes:



O2 signal tracking due to wet/oily condition in the connector
 
O2 signal circuit is open or shorted to system power
 
O2 is damaged or is has failed
 
PCM has failed

O2 (B2 S2) Slow Response

Possible Causes:



Exhaust leak present in the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipes
 
O2 element is fuel contaminated
 
O2 element is deteriorated or it has failed

ASD relay output (power) circuit to the heater is open

Fuel delivery component fault (clogged filter, low fuel pressure)
 
O2 element is contaminated, deteriorated or it has failed
 
Vacuum hose is disconnected, broken, leaking or loose

Base engine fault (i.e., cam timing incorrect, oil level too high)

Fuel delivery component fault (injector leak, high fuel pressure)
 
O2 element is contaminated, deteriorated or it has failed
