REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Most vehicles do not have a replaceable PCV valve, they use metering jets within the PCV hoses. The only service procedure is to clean out the PCV hoses if they become clogged.
- Detach the ventilation hose from the PCV valve.
- Remove the PCV valve. If its base is threaded, unscrew the valve; otherwise, simply pull the valve from its retaining grommet.
- Depending on the type of valve, either screw in the replacement PCV valve or push it into its retaining grommet.
- Slide the ventilation hose onto the end of the PCV valve.
