Lemans and Grand Am
  1. Disconnect the blower motor feed wire and the ground wire.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the air line from the blower motor case.
  4.  
  5. Remove the blower motor retaining screws and remove the motor.
  6.  
  7. To replace, reverse the removal procedure.
  8.  

Ventura, Phoenix Through 1979
  1. Disconnect the battery.
  2.  
  3. Detach the heater hoses from the clips on the right front fender skirt.
  4.  
  5. Raise the car and remove all fender skirt attaching bolts except those which attach the skirt to the radiator support.
  6.  
  7. Pull down on the skirt and block the skirt out to provide clearance for removal of the blower motor.
  8.  
  9. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the motor.
  10.  
  11. Remove the attaching screws and remove the blower motor. Pry the motor flange gently if the sealer acts as an adhesive.
  12.  
  13. Remove the blower impeller retaining nut and separate the motor from the impeller.
  14.  
  15. To replace, reverse the removal procedure.
  16.  

Grand Prix through 1976
  1. Disconnect the power wire.
  2.  
  3. Remove the motor retaining screws.
  4.  
  5. Remove the motor.
  6.  
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  8.  

1977 and Later Grand Prix
  1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the blower motor.
  2.  
  3. Remove the blower motor flange screws and remove the motor assembly from the heater case.
  4.  
  5. The installation is in the reverse of the removal procedure.
  6.
