REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Manual and Power
FRONT
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Operate the front seat to the full forward position.
  4.  
  5. Remove the screws, rear support covers and adjuster hold-down nuts.
  6.  
  7. Remove the seat belt cover.
  8.  
  9. Operate the seat to the full rearward position.
  10.  
  11. Remove the screws, front support covers and adjuster hold-down nuts.
  12.  
  13. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt using a Torx® socket J 29843-9.
  14.  
  15. Disconnect and electrical connections to the seat.
  16.  
  17. Before removing the seat, place paint protection over the trim to prevent damage.
  18.  
  19. With an assistant, remove the seat assembly with adjusters attached.
  20.  

To install:

  1. With an assistant, install the seat assembly onto the mounting studs.
  2.  
  3. Connect all electrical connections and seat belts. Tighten the seat belt anchor to 31 ft. lbs. (42 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Install and tighten the front nuts to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm). Install the support covers.
  6.  
  7. Move the seat to the full forward position.
  8.  
  9. Install the seat belt cover, rear nuts and torque to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
  10.  
  11. Install the support covers, connect the negative battery cable and check operation.
  12.  

Rear
SEAT BOTTOM
  1. The seat bottom is held in place by dome stops located on the floor pan. The dome stops hook over the frame wires on the seatbottom.
  2.  
  3. To disengage, push the lower front edge of the seatbottom rearward, lift up and pull forward to disengage the dome stops.
  4.  

To install:

  1. Slide the bottom rearward, press down and pull forward. The frame wire in the bottom should slide into the dome stops.
  2.  

SEATBACK
  1. Remove the two retaining bolts in the lower corners.
  2.  
  3. Lift the rear seatback off the hooks on the seat panel.
  4.  
  5. Hang the seatback over the hooks on the panel and install the two bolts.
  6.
