Removal & Installation

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Open the glove box (B) and lower it down completely by removing the glove box stopper (A).

  5. Remove the filter cover (A) by pushing on the knobs.
  6.  
  7. Remove the cabin air filter.

To install:

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  2.  
  3. Replace the cabin air filter making sure of the direction of air filter.
    NOTE
    In the case of driving in a very air-polluted area or rugged terrain, check and replace the cabin air filter as frequently as possible. Normal replacement period: about 10,000 miles (15,000 km).
