Removal & Installation



  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  4.  
  5. Remove the rear wheels and tires.
    WARNING
    Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire.

  6.  
  7. Remove the nuts of the rear stabilizer control links.

  9. Remove the rear stabilizer link from the stabilizer bar assembly.
  10.  
  11. Remove the control links from the vehicle.
  12.  

To install:

  1. Install the rear stabilizer control link and nut to the stabilizer bar assembly. Tighten to 36-47 ft. lbs. (50-65 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Install the stabilizer control link nut to the trailing arm. Tighten to 36-47 ft. lbs. (50-65 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Repeat appropriate steps for the other side.
  6.  
  7. Install the wheel and the tire to the rear hub. Tighten to 65-80 ft. lbs. (90-110 Nm).
    WARNING
    Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when installing the rear wheel and tire.
