Circuit Breaker

Selected circuits, such as headlights and windshield wipers, are protected with circuit breakers. A circuit breaker is designed to stop current flow in case of a short circuit or overload. It will automatically restore current flow after a few seconds, but will again interrupt current flow if the overload or short circuit continues. This ON/OFF cycle will continue as long as the overload or short circuit exists, except for the circuit breakers protecting the power door lock and power window circuits, which will not restore current flow until the overload is removed.
