Clutch Cable

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



The clutch cable is connected to the clutch pedal at one end and to the clutch release lever at the other end. The cable conduit is retained by a bolt and clamp on a bracket mounted on the flywheel housing.

  1. If necessary, raise and support the vehicle safely.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect both ends of the cable and the conduit, then remove the assembly from under the vehicle.
  4.  
  5. Using engine oil, lubricate the clutch cable. If the cable is defective, replace it.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse the removal procedure.
