Removal & Installation

  1. Set the vehicle on a lift.
  2.  
  3. Remove the collector cover.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  6.  
  7. Lift up the vehicle.
  8.  
  9. Remove the under cover.
  10.  
  11. Remove the bolts on the underside of the radiator stay.

  13. Remove the bolts on the underside of the radiator fan shroud.

  15. Lower the vehicle.
  16.  
  17. Remove the air intake duct.
  18.  
  19. Remove the front upper cover.

  21. Remove the radiator upper brackets.

  23. Remove the radiator stay by performing the following:

    Remove the latch
     
    Remove the radiator hose bracket
     
    Remove the clip holding the harness
     
    Remove the bolts on the left side of the radiator stay
     
    Remove the bolts on the right side of the radiator stay

  25. Disconnect the connector from radiator fan control unit.

  27. Remove the reservoir tank.

  29. Remove the bolts on the upper side of the radiator fan shroud.

  31. Remove the radiator fan shroud.
    NOTE
    When pulling the radiator fan shroud up, be careful not to hit and damage the radiator and ATF hoses.

To install:

  1. Install the radiator fan shroud. Tighten the bolts on the top side of the radiator fan shroud to 60 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Install the reservoir tank.
  4.
