On ff-1 and 1300G models, the fuse box is located in the engine compartment, on the left front fender.
On all other models until 1978, it is located on the right front wheel arch in the engine compartment. From 1978-84 it is located underneath the instrument panel, on the left side.
The amperage for each fuse is stamped on the fuse box cover.
If equipped with 4WD, a fuse holder is located near the ignition coil. For servicing purposes, to change 4WD to FWD, insert a 15A fuse into the FWD fuse holder. The FWD pilot lamp (on the instrument panel) will turn ON to indicate the the vehicle is set in the FWD mode.
ff-1 and 1300G models have two spare fuses tied to the wiring harness which runs between the battery and voltage regulator. The spare fuses are inside the fuse box cover on all other models.
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
- Open the cover to the fuse panel.
- Select the fuse to be removed and using a fuse puller tool remove the fuse.
- Check that the new fuse is of the proper amperage.
