  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the tray at the hand brake cover by disengaging the hook at the rear of the tray.
  4.  
  5. Remove the fasteners holding the console box and hand brake cover to the floor.
  6.  
  7. Remove the console box retaining fasteners.
  8.  
  9. Disengage the radio electrical connector.
  10.  
  11. On automatic transaxle equipped vehicles remove the indicator cover
  12.  
  13. Remove the parking brake cover by loosening the fastener in the pocket.
  14.  
  15. Remove the console box.
  16.

To install:

  1. Install the console box and retaining fasteners.
  2.  
  3. Install the parking brake cover and the fastener in the pocket.
  4.  
  5. On automatic transaxle equipped vehicles install the indicator cover.
  6.  
  7. Engage the radio electrical connector.
  8.  
  9. Install the console box retaining fasteners.
  10.  
  11. Install the fasteners holding the console box and hand brake cover to the floor.
  12.  
  13. Install the tray at the hand brake cover.
  14.  
  15. Connect the negative battery cable.
  16.
