Possible Causes:



IAT sensor signal circuit or ground circuit is open

Possible Causes:



Check the operation of the thermostat (it may be stuck open)
 
Inspect for low coolant level or an incorrect coolant mixture
 
ECT sensor signal circuit has high resistance

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Input

Possible Causes:



ECT sensor signal circuit is shorted to sensor ground

Possible Causes:



Base engine "mechanical" fault affecting one or more cylinders
 
EVAP system component has failed or canister fuel saturated
 
Fuel control sensor is out of calibration (i.e., ECT, IAT or MAP)
 
Fuel delivery system supplying too much fuel during cruise or idle periods (e.g., faulty fuel pump, or faulty pressure regulator)
 
Fuel injector(s) is leaking or stuck partially open (one or more)
 
HO2S is contaminated, deteriorated or it has failed

Possible Causes:



Canister vent (CV) solenoid is stuck open
 
EVAP canister tube, EVAP canister purge outlet tube or EVAP return tube disconnected or cracked, or canister is damaged
 
EVAP canister purge valve stuck closed, or canister damaged
 
Fuel filler cap missing, loose (not tightened) or the wrong part
 
Fuel vapor hoses/tubes blocked or restricted, or fuel vapor control valve tube or fuel vapor vent valve assembly blocked
 
Fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor has failed (mechanical fault)
 
Fuel tank control valve is contaminated, damaged or has failed
