On the 1.3L and 1.6L engines with distributorless ignition, no adjustments are necessary, or possible for this system. The ECM (electronic control module) controls all aspects of the ignition timing. If the timing falls out of parameters, individual component testing is required.
On the 1.8L engine, ignition timing is the only adjustment possible for this system. If the timing requires adjustment, refer to Ignition Timing, found in this section (Engine Electrical).
