REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Front Speakers

See Figure 1

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Loosen the two front speaker grille mounting screws, then pull the grille off of the speaker.
  4.  
  5. Loosen the two front speaker mounting screws, then remove the speaker from the instrument panel.
  6.  
  7. Detach and label the speaker wires from the speaker terminals.
  8.

To install:
  1. Reattach the speaker wires to the speaker terminals.
  2.  
  3. Position the speaker in the mounting hole on the instrument panel, then tighten the two front speaker mounting screws securely.
  4.  
  5. Place the grille over the speaker, then install and tighten the two front speaker grille mounting screws.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8.  

Rear Speakers

See Figure 6

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable .
  2.  
  3. Loosen the front seat belt trim bezel retaining screw, then pull the rear quarter interior trim panel off of the body, disengaging the plastic clips.
  4.  
  5. Loosen the speaker mounting screws, then remove the speaker from the rear inner quarter panel.
  6.  
  7. Detach and label the speaker wires from the speaker terminals.
  8.

To install:
  1. Reattach the speaker wires to the speaker terminals.
  2.  
  3. Position the speaker in the mounting hole on the rear inner quarter panel, then tighten the speaker mounting screws securely.
  4.  
  5. Place the rear quarter trim panel in position on the body, then press it into place so that the plastic retaining clips engage.
  6.  
  7. Install and tighten the front seat belt trim bezel retaining screw.
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10.
