REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Samurai Model

To remove the grille from the vehicle, loosen the retaining screws (accessible from the front of the grille), then pull the grille out of the front body panel. During installation, tighten the retaining screws snugly.

Sidekick, Tracker and X-90 Models

See Figure 1

  1. Loosen the one grille retaining screw from the front of each wheelhousing.
  2.  
  3. Loosen the one top center grille retaining screw, which is accessible from the front of the grille.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the two plastic grille retainer clips, then pull the grille away from the vehicle.
  6.

To install:
  1. Position the grille in place and engage the two plastic retainer clips.
  2.  
  3. Install and tighten the top center, and two side mounting screws until snug.
  4.  

Sidekick Sport Model

The front grille on the Sidekick Sport models is much smaller than that used on the Sidekick, Tracker and X-90 models. To remove it from the vehicle, loosen the retaining screws, which are accessible from the front of the grille, then pull the grille out of the front body panel. During installation, tighten the retaining screws snugly.
