REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Front Seats

See Figures 1, 2 and 3

This is a general procedure; certain steps may need alteration for your particular vehicle.

  1. Remove the front seat adjuster trim cover by loosening the two retaining screws.
  2.  
  3. Remove the four front seat anchor bolt covers.
  4.  
  5. Loosen the four anchor bolts, then lift the seat up and out of the vehicle.
  6.

To install:
  1. Position the seat in the vehicle, then install and tighten the four anchor bolts to 221 inch lbs. (25 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Install the four anchor bolt covers.
  4.  
  5. Position the front seat adjuster trim cover in place, then install the two retaining screws.
  6.  

Rear Seats

BENCH SEAT

See Figures 4, 5 and 6

This is a general procedure; certain steps may need alteration for your particular vehicle.

  1. Fold the rear seatback, pull the rear seat release handle and raise the rear seat.
  2.  
  3. Unclip the rear seat support rod from the bottom of the seat and support the seat
  4.  
  5. Remove one rear anchor bolt from each of the rear seat hinges.
  6.  
  7. Lower the seat, then gently pry the hinge cover off of each of the rear seat hinges.
  8.  
  9. Loosen one front anchor bolt from each of the rear seat hinges, then carefully lift the seat up and out of the vehicle.

To install:
  1. Position the rear seat in the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Install the two front hinge bolts, and tighten them to 221 inch lbs. (25 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Install the hinge cover on the front of each of the hinges, then raise and support the seat.
  6.  
  7. Install the two rear hinge bolts, and tighten them to 221 inch lbs. (25 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Engage the support rod to the bottom of the seat, and lower the seat.
  10.  
  11. If desired, raise the rear seatback into the upright position.
  12.  

50/50 SPLIT SEATS

See Figure 7

This is a general procedure; certain steps may need alteration for your particular vehicle.

  1. Detach the three snap clips at the front of the rear floor carpet. Move the carpet to reveal the rear seat front anchor bolts.
  2.  
  3. Loosen one front anchor bolt from each of the rear seat rails.
  4.

  1. Fold the rear seatback, and raise the rear seat.
  2.  
  3. Unclip the rear seat support rod from the bottom of the seat and support the seat
  4.  
  5. Remove one rear anchor bolt from each of the rear seat rails, then carefully lift the seat up and out of the vehicle.
  6.  

To install:
  1. Position the rear seat in the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Install the front rail bolts, and tighten them to 221 inch lbs. (25 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Raise and support the seat.
  6.  
  7. Install the rear rail bolts, and tighten them to 221 inch lbs. (25 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Engage the support rod to the bottom of the seat, and lower the seat.
  10.  
  11. If desired, raise the rear seatback into the upright position.
  12.
