Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Intermittent

Possible Causes:



Fuel level signal circuit is open between the splice and the I/P
 
Wrong fuel gauge is installed, or instrument panel is damaged
 
Fuel gauge sender unit is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: P0506



Idle Speed Control System Lower Than Expected

Possible Causes:



IAC valve control circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
IAC valve power circuit is open (intermittent fault)
 
IAC valve ground circuit is open (intermittent fault)
 
Throttle plate is carbon fouled (it may need to be cleaned)
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: P0507



Idle Speed Control System Higher Than Expected

Possible Causes:



IAC valve control circuit is open (intermittent fault)
 
IAC valve power circuit is open (intermittent fault)
 
IAC valve ground circuit is open (intermittent fault)
 
Throttle plate is carbon fouled (it may need to be cleaned)
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: P0630



VIN Not Programmed or Incompatible-ECM/PCM

Possible Causes:



The contents of the ECM have changed
 
Check the validity of the VIN
 
PCM is faulty
