A/T Shift Solenoid 'B' Malfunction (Mechanical)

Possible Causes:



A/T component problems (i.e., in clutch, brake or gears)
 
SSB is damaged, stuck "open" or stuck "closed"
 
Transmission valve body is clogged, dirty or stuck
 

Trouble Code: P0758



A/T Shift Solenoid 2 or 'B' Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



SS2 or SSB control circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
SS2or SSB control circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
 
SS2 or SSB is damaged or has failed (an electrical fault)
 
PCM has failed

A/T Shift Solenoid 'E' (SL) Malfunction (Mechanical)

Possible Causes:



A/T component problems (i.e., in clutch, brake or gears)
 
SL (shift lockup) is damaged, stuck "open" or stuck "closed"
 
Transmission valve body is clogged, dirty or stuck

A/T Shift Solenoid 'E' (SL) Circuit Malfunction

SL control circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
SL control circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
 
SL is damaged or has failed (an electrical fault)
 
PCM has failed

Igniter Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



IGT or IGF signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
Igniter is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed

Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



CKP sensor (+) circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
CKP sensor (-) circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
CKP sensor (+), (-) circuit is shorted to VREF or system power
 
CKP sensor is damaged or has failed
 
PCM has failed
 

Trouble Code: P1500



Starter Signal Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



Engine starter signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
Engine starter signal circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
 
Starter has failed
 
PCM has failed

PCM Battery Backup Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



Battery backup circuit is open (check EFI fuse and fuse link)
 
Battery terminals are corroded or loose
 
PCM has failed

Park/Neutral Position Switch Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



P/N switch is shorted to ground or wiring harness is shorted
 
P/N switch is out-of-adjustment, damaged or has failed
