Possible Causes:

S/C Sensor ground open

DRB or scan tool displays a "write" failure occurred

PCM has failed

Possible Causes:



Clear the trouble codes and retest for the same trouble code. If DTC P1697 resets, replace the PCM and then reprogram it.
