  1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Remove the front wheel and temporarily fasten the disc with hub nuts.
  4.  
  5. Using Special Tool 09023-00100, disconnect the brake line from the rear of the caliper. Be prepared with a container to catch any brake fluid that may spill.
  6.  
  7. Remove the caliper mounting bolts and the caliper.
  8.  

To install:

  1. Install the caliper and tighten the mounting bolts to 90 ft. lbs. (123 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Connect the brake line to the rear of the caliper and tighten to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Install the front wheel and lower the vehicle. Tighten the lug nuts to 76 ft. lbs. (103 Nm).
  6.  
  7. Bleed the brake system and road test the vehicle.

  1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Remove the front wheel.
  4.  
  5. Remove the front disc brake pads.
  6.  
  7. Using Special Tool 09023-00100, disconnect the brake line from the rear of the caliper. Be prepared with a container to catch any brake fluid that may spill.
  8.  
  9. Remove the caliper mounting bolts and the caliper.
  10.  

To install:

  1. Install the caliper and tighten the mounting bolts to 91 ft. lbs. (123 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Connect the brake line to the rear of the caliper and tighten to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Install the front disc brake pads.
  6.  
  7. Install the front wheel and lower the vehicle. Tighten the lug nuts to 83 ft. lbs. (112 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Bleed the brake system and road test the vehicle.
