  1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Remove the front wheels.
  4.  
  5. Remove the nuts and disconnect the stabilizer bar links from the lower control arm.
  6.  
  7. Hold the link with a wrench, and then remove the nut, retainers, cushions and link.
  8.  
  9. Remove the bolts and stabilizer bar with cushions and brackets.
  10.  

To install:

  1. Place the stabilizer bar into position, then install both the bar cushions and brackets to the frame. Temporarily install the bolts. Tighten to 19 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Hold the stabilizer bar link with a wrench, then install the link onto the lower control arm with a new nut. Tighten the nut to 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm).
  4.  
  5. On models with the links, using a hexagon wrench, connect the stabilizer bar on both sides to the links with new nuts, tighten to 51 ft. lbs. (69 Nm).
  6.  
  7. Install the front wheels.
  8.  

  1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Remove front wheels.
  4.  
  5. Remove the nuts and disconnect the stabilizer bar from the links.
  6.  
  7. Remove the bolts and stabilizer bar brackets.
  8.  
  9. Remove the stabilizer bar.
  10.  

To install:

  1. Install the stabilizer bar.
  2.  
  3. Install the stabilizer bar brackets and tighten the bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Attach the stabilizer bar to the links and tighten to 52 ft. lbs. (70 Nm).
  6.  
  7. Install the front wheels and lower the vehicle.
  8.
