Testing



2.2L (5S-FE) VIN G
  1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
  2.  
  3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT. Resistance specification: 11 - 16 ohms at 20°C (68°F).
  4.  
  5. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
  6.  
  7. Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

  8.  

  1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
  2.  
  3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT. Resistance specification: 11 - 16 ohms at 20°C (68°F).
  4.  
  5. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
  6.  
  7. Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

3.0L (1MZ-FE) VIN F
  1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
  2.  
  3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT. Resistance specification: 11 - 16 ohms at 20°C (68°F).
  4.  
  5. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
  6.  
  7. Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

  1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
  2.

  1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
  2.  
  3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT. Resistance specification: 11 - 16 ohms at 20°C (68°F).
  4.  
  5. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
  6.  
  7. Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

  1. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
