REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Dash Mounted
  1. Make sure that the radio is off.
  2.  
  3. Remove the speaker panel.
  4.

  1. Remove the instrument panel box (some models).
  2.  
  3. Label and disconnect the speaker wires.
  4.  
  5. Remove the 2 screws and remove the speaker.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of removal be sure to secure all components.
  8.  

Door Mounted
  1. Make sure that the radio is off.
  2.  
  3. On some models the armrest must be removed.
  4.  
  5. If equipped. remove the clip and the screws securing the door pocket and remove the door pocket.
  6.  
  7. Remove the speaker cover usually attached by retaining screws or clips.
  8.

  1. Remove the inner door panel.
  2.  
  3. Label and disconnect the speaker wires.

Remove the 4 screws and the speaker.

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal, secure all components.

Trunk Mounted

NOTE
On some sedans and liftbacks the rear seat back and bottom must be removed to extract the package tray.

  1. Remove the package tray trim (some models).
