THROTTLE CABLE



  1. Remove the air cleaner.
  2.  
  3. Fully depress the accelerator cable.
  4.  
  5. Loosen the adjustment nuts.
  6.  
  7. Adjust the cable housing so that the distance between the end of boot and the stopper on the cable is 0-.04 in. (0-1mm).
  8.  
  9. Tighten the adjusting nuts.
  10.  
  11. Recheck the adjustment.

CONTROL CABLE



  1. Loosen the control cable lever swivel nut on the shift lever.
  2.  
  3. Push the control lever to the right as far as it will go.
  4.  
  5. Bring the lever back two notches to the Neutral position.
  6.  
  7. Place the shifter in Neutral .
  8.  
  9. Hold the lever, lightly, toward the R range side and tighten the swivel nut. Check that the shift lever can be moved smoothly in all positions and that the indicator is accurate.
