REMOVAL & INSTALLATION




CAUTION
On vehicles equipped with inflatable restraints or air bag systems, wait at least 30 seconds after disconnecting the battery cable before performing any other work. The backup power will keep the restraint system energized for a period of time after the battery is disconnected.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the air flow meter connector.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the air cleaner hose and remove the air cleaner cap and air flow meter assembly, removing the bolt and nuts.
  6.  

To install:

  1. Install the air flow meter and air cleaner cap, with a new gasket in place.
  2.  
  3. Reconnect the air cleaner hose.
  4.  
  5. Connect the air flow meter connector.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8.
