REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



1988-89 Vehicles
  1. With the switch off, loosen the retainer screws and take out the beam unit. Remove the rubber cover and disconnect the connectors.
  2.  
  3. Release the bulb retaining spring and remove the bulb.
  4.  

To install:

  1. Install a new bulb (35W) and retaining spring, aligning the cutouts of the bulb with the protrusions of the mounting hole. Clean the bulb with alcohol and a clean towel, if you touch the bulb surface.
  2.  
  3. Connect the connectors. Install the rubber cover with the triangle mark upward and snug on the boss.
  4.  
  5. Install the unit with the top mark on the glass facing upward, then tighten the screws.
  6.

1990-91 Vehicles
  1. With the switch off, remove the fog light cover from the bumper on 4WD models. Remove the retainer screws and take out the beam unit. Remove the rubber cover and disconnect the connectors.
  2.  
  3. Release the bulb retaining spring and remove the bulb.
  4.  

To install:

  1. Install a new bulb (55W) and retaining spring, aligning the cutouts of the bulb with the protrusions of the mounting hole. Clean the bulb with alcohol and a clean towel, if you touch the bulb surface.
  2.  
  3. Connect the connectors. Install the rubber cover with the triangle mark upward and snug on the boss.
  4.  
  5. Install the unit with the top mark on the glass facing upward, then tighten the screws. Install the fog light cover on 4WD models.
  6.

1992-93 Vehicles
  1. With the switch off, remove the fog light cover from the bumper on 4WD models by removing the clips and releasing the tabs. Remove the retainer screws and take out the beam unit. Remove the rubber cover and disconnect the connectors.
  2.  
  3. Release the bulb retaining spring and remove the bulb.
  4.  

To install:

  1. Install a new bulb (55W) and retaining spring, aligning the cutouts of the bulb with the protrusions of the mounting hole. Clean the bulb with alcohol and a clean towel, if you touch the bulb surface.

AIMING



The fog light aim is preset at the factory and is not adjustable. If the fog lights are not pointing in the proper direction, check for damage at the fog light mounting area.
