Towing with the rear wheels on the ground
: Release the parking brake.
Towing with four wheels on the ground should never be done.
The vehicle can be towed from the front only. Release the parking brake and place the transaxle in the
position. The ignition key must be in the
position. Before towing, check the transaxle fluid level. If the level is lower than the hot line, add fluid or use a towing dolly.
NEVER tow a vehicle with an automatic transaxle from the rear with the front wheels on the ground, as this may cause damage to the transaxle! If the vehicle must be towed from the rear, use a towing dolly under the front wheels.
