  1. Drain the cooling system.
  2.  
  3. Unfasten the clamp and remove the upper radiator hose from the water outlet elbow.
  4.  
  5. Unbolt and remove the water outlet (thermostat housing).
  6.  
  7. Withdraw the thermostat.
  8.  
  9. Installation is performed in the reverse order of the removal procedure. Use a new gasket on the water outlet.
  10.  

Be sure that the thermostat is installed with the spring pointing down.
