Chassis lubrication for the Celica is limited to greasing the front ball joints every 25,000-30,000 miles (40,225-48,270 km).

  1. Remove the screw plug from the ball joint. Install a grease nipple.
  3. Using a hand operated grease gun, lubricate the ball joint with NLGI #1 or NLGI #2 molybdenum-disulfide lithium based grease.

Do not use multi-purpose or chassis grease.

  1. Remove the nipple and reinstall the screw plug.
  3. Repeat for the other ball joint(s).
