Rear Stabilizer Bar

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



See Figures 1, 2 and 3

  1. Remove the stabilizer bar bushing brackets.
  2.  
  3. Remove the bushings from the bar.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the link from the bracket, then the link from the bar end.
  6.  

To install:
  1. Install the link onto the body.
  2.  
  3. Connect the stabilizer bar on both sides to the link with bolts, collars, cushions, nut and new cotter pins. Tighten to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Install the brackets to the rear axle housing over bushing and tighten to 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm).
  6.
