Heater Water Control Valve

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



See Figures 1 through 8

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Drain the cooling system.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the water valve control cable.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core and water valve.
  8.  
  9. Remove the water valve.
  10.

To install:
  1. Position the water control valve and secure with the retaining bolt.
  2.  
  3. Push the water hose onto the heater core pipe as far as the ridge on the pipe. Refill the cooling system.
  4.  
  5. Adjust control cable if necessary.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. Check operation of the system.
  8.
