The chassis lubrication for these models is limited to lubricating the front ball joints every 15,000 miles (24,000 km) or 12 months, whichever occurs first. To lubricate the ball joints, proceed as follows:

  1. Remove the screw plug from the ball joint. Install a grease nipple.
  2.  
  3. Using a hand-operated grease gun, lubricate the ball joint with NGLI No. 1 molybdenum-disulphide lithium-based grease.

WARNING
Do not use multipurpose or chassis grease.

  1. Remove the nipple and reinstall the screw plug.
  2.  
  3. Repeat for the other ball joint(s).
  4.
