On some of the later Cressida and Van models, the clock is built directly into the radio assembly and cannot be removed separately.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Using a small prytool, pry the clock loose from the dash panel. The clock is usually held to the dash panel by 2 small retaining clips.
  5. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the rear of the clock and remove the clock.
  7. Installation of the clock is the reverse of the removal procedure. Check the clock functions for proper operation. Reset the clock.

If the clock in your vehicle is the type with hands (analog type) and it is located in the combination meter assembly, it will be necessary to remove the combination meter as outlined in this section, in order to gain access to the clock. Due to the various models of clocks used throughout the years, it will be necessary to refer to your owner's manual for directions on how to reset the clock in your vehicle.
