    1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
    2.  
    3. Remove or disconnect the following:

      Negative battery cable. On vehicles equipped with an air bag, wait at least 90 seconds before proceeding.
       
      Wheel
       
      Brake drum or rotor
       
      With ABS brakes, ABS wheel speed sensor or skid control sensor, as applicable
       
      4 hub retaining bolts
       
      Hub
       

    4.  

    To install:

    1. Install or connect the following:

      Hub to the knuckle. Tighten the bolts to 45 ft. lbs. (61 Nm).
       
      ABS wheel speed or skid control sensor, if equipped
       
      Brake drum or rotor
       
      Wheel
       
      Negative battery cable
       

    2.  
    3. Check and adjust the alignment, if needed.
