A/T Shift Solenoid 2 or 'B' Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



SS2 or SSB control circuit is open or shorted to ground
 
SS2or SSB control circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
 
SS2 or SSB is damaged or has failed (an electrical fault)
 
PCM has failed

A/T Shift Solenoid 'E' (SL) Malfunction (Mechanical)

Possible Causes:



A/T component problems (i.e., in clutch, brake or gears)
 
SL (shift lockup) is damaged, stuck "open" or stuck "closed"
 
Transmission valve body is clogged, dirty or stuck
