REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Water Temperature Senders and Sensors
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Drain the cooling system.
  4.  
  5. Unplug the electrical connector.
  6.  
  7. Remove the sensor using a suitable tool.
  8.  
  9. Installation is the reverse of removal. Fill the cooling system and check for leaks.
  10.  

Cooling Fan Switch

The cooling fan switch is also known as the water temperature switch. Follow the procedures for Water Temperature Senders and Sensors.

Oil Pressure Sender
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Unplug the electrical connector.
  4.  
  5. Remove the sensor using a suitable tool.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of removal. Check for leaks.
  8.  

Fuel Level Sender

The fuel level sending unit removal and installation procedure is covered in Fuel System .
